North Beach I/II
The North Beach facility is located in Conecuh County, Alabama and processes rich casinghead gas gathered at low pressure on multiple producer owned multi-well gathering systems, from wells in Conecuh and Escambia counties in Alabama.
Phase I has a capacity of 3,500 MCF/D and is a propane refrigeration custom design that processes 1,400 btu/cf inlet casinghead gas, producing pipeline quality residue gas and a C2+ Y-Grade NGL product stream with a vapor pressure low enough to allow transport by truck for fractionation. The Plant was built and installed by CDM MAX in a skid mounted, modular fashion, and was commissioned in March 2010, approximately six months after contract execution.
Phase II, an expansion that will more than double the processing capacity of the facility, utilizing the same process, is in the design stage and is expected to start-up in the first quarter of 2012.
The North Beach facility represents a true win-win for all as it has eliminated the field flaring of this otherwise unmarketable gas, and provided our Customer with an approximate $9.25/MCF process upgrade from the NGL value.
Please call Steven Adamcik or Robert Jernigan if you would like additional information about CDM’s Advanced Modular Processing capabilities.
